I just received this gadget this morning so I thought I would quickly try it out right on the dog. When I first opened the package I was worried it would not fit the vacuum hose. I have a 30 year old Electrolux. It comes with 2 adapters, it takes a little trial and error to get the adapters right, but it fits perfect.

Of course, it is impossible to see how much hair it is removing off his body, but the head of the brush seem to loosen up quite a bit, and the handle ended up with a significant amount stuck to it, so if that is any indication, hair must be coming off!

Now for the great part. My dog loves this brush lol! After a few swipes he rolled over and was ready for me to do it for hours. If you dog loves a vacuum brush, I think that is half the battle.

Check this brush out, really it is not much more than a standard brush at Pets Mart and you have no flying hair!

I feel kinda cheesy reviewing this, but I did buy from Amazon for my new vacuum purchased from Amazon- I lucky haven't had to use it yet, as my current Eureka bag less vacuum continues to work great and no problems with the belt- I am a firm believer of keeping a spare belt on hand though, and I am sure it will work fine with I need to use- Its strong material, and shipping was great as usual!

If I could have rated the item with zero stars I would have. I ordered 5 of the DCF 18 Eureka dust cup filters as pictured on the site. I received some dust cup filters for a totally different vacuum. They didn't even look similar. I waited several weeks for them to arrive and it was very disappointing that the wrong item was sent. I did get my money back, but I had to take time from my busy schedule to bring the box to the post office. DO NOT ORDER. When I called Amazon they said the picture is probably wrong and if I reordered I would probably get the wrong item again.

You can't really pick & choose the filter you can use with the Eureka 71B - it is what it is! I bought the 71B used & the moment I changed the filter, it was like a brand new vacuum, it made all the difference in the world.

If you're looking at the filter reviews before you buy the vacuum (kinda smart) I'd say that the filter really traps dirt & hair in it and you can't really clean it on your own to prolong it's useful life. You can shake it out, but there isn't a lot you can do with it except replace it eventually. And I expect to replace it often in order to maintain suction.

That being said, I am an Amazon Prime member so it's cheaper for me to buy it here than through Eureka. It would be great to buy 4-packs to have them on-hand.

Our Golden Retriever, Murray, leaves clumps of "furry Murray" hair all over the house. My floors are entirely hardwood and tile and my huge upright vacuum is a pain in the tush to haul out daily. I got this Eureka, stuck it together in 15 seconds, plugged it in, and vacummed the entire house in less than 10 minutes. It sucked up the dog hair cleanly and quickly, along with kitchen crumbs and tracked-in dirt. The vacuum is incredibly light yet powerful. I won't dread vacumming any more!

I was so hoping this would be 'the one', portable, light weight, taking up little storage space. Mine (new) arrived in a box with the parts not secured within the box and obviously parts were missing. The seller tried to charge me to return the product even though I did not receive the entire product. Because of that fact, I was unwilling to try to purchase again. Amazon helped with resolution to see that I was refunded, but it should not have come to that. What parts were there, I can only comment that the handle seemed very light weight (like hollow aluminum).

I have purchased this stick vacuum cleaner before. I love this vacuum because it is small, thin and it's convenient to put in the corner of my closet. I live in a small condo and I don't have the room for a regular size vacuum cleaner. The down side to this product is that it will last for about a year and then you have to buy another one. The black cord that covers the wiring causes a short when it starts to unravel from daily use and you can't use the vacuum cleaner.

As other reviewers said, this looks like a cheap little toy when it comes out of its box. BUT, it weighs almost nothing, it costs about $10 less than a Swiffer, it picks up dirt and other stuff my Swiffer won't, and it doesn't need pads constantly replaced. It even picks bits and pieces off my wall-to-wall carpet. This is the best purchase I've made in ages. The only negative is that it won't stand upright by itself or against a wall. That's a tiny drawback compared to its price and cleaning ability.

After only about 7 months of use the on switch seems to be going out (it turns on and stops then comes back on and stops again) and the now the battery will not charge. I purchased this vacuum when I got tired of lugging out the big vac to keep up with dog hair and kid crumbs. Sweeping just made things worse by making the dog hair fly around instead of helping.

So, solution...a lightweight cordless vac WITH a small duster for sofas. This vacuum has been perfect for our family. The battery lasts long enough (10-15 minutes) for me to relatively thoroughly clean the kitchen floor and then the other 3 rooms that are wood floors. The dog hair and crumbs are picked up between thorough floor cleanings which is exactly the thing I needed. The removeable "dustbuster" is perfect for crumbs and hair on furniture and in tighter corners. This vacuum is not meant to be the end all vacuum for your house. It is perfect for the 1-2 times a day you may want to keep doghair and crumbs in check. I leave this vacuum in the laundry room plugged is so it is always ready to go.

There is an unexpected added bonus...my boys LOVE to use it! It is the perfect weight and height (with the handle down) for kids! They get it out and put it away on their own. I rarely let them sweep with a broom because it just made more work for me, but now I have to keep them from fighting over it:)

So, if dog hair and dirt acculumate quickly in your house and you dread pulling out the big vac to keep up and sweeping frustrates you, this is the vacuum for you.

When you first get the vaccuum it needs to be charged for at least 24 hours. I let mine charge for two days and have not had a problem with it. I also leave it plugged in all the time cause I use it at least once a day. I have 3 dogs and hardwood floors so there is a lot of dog hair to clean up. It is so easy to take out this vaccuum and do spot cleaning. I like that it is handheld so I can easily do the stairs or clean my car. This won't take the place of your regular vaccuum but does great to quickly clean up floors and rugs.

I have the purple model given to me as a gift and I think it works great for what it is supposed to do. It is NOT meant as your one and only vaccuum. I have a Dyson for serious cleaning but with 2 kids and a dog I have to have something lightweight and quick to use for spilled crumbs and tracked in dirt. Perfect for those quick jobs on the floor and works better than expected on low-pile carpet. Plus since it is so lightweight I can carry it upstairs to our one bonus room - a Dyson is not easy to lug up stairs.

Cons: The dirt cup fills pretty quickly, but once again this is not a problem if it is only being used a minute at a time for "touch ups". I was disappointed the battery life does not last very long but I just know to charge it often so it is always handy. Nothing battery powered ever seems to last as long as it should.

I used to use my broom and dustpan several times a day and this has replaced that and given me a little extra power for rugs and stairs. I'm happy with it.

"The Quick-Up is MUCH better!" 2009-07-06

I bought this mainly to compare it to the $35 Quick-Up and decided that I like the QU better, it holds more before I notice the strain on the battery. The EasyClean is what another reviewer said: a dust buster on a stick. The dirt clings immediately to the end of the filter, blocking the suction. With the Quick-Up, there is more surface area to the filter and can be used longer between emptyings. I use my corded full-size vac to clean the filter of what it's picked up. The suction seamed weak at the handheld nozzle and, that being narrow, the main nozzle will not have enough concentrated suction to be effective on bare floors. My opinion, save your money, get the Quick-Up.

UPDATE: I returned this to the 'big box' store and bought the Hoover Platinum LiNX cordless and it performs flawlessly, check out the reviews on it. Warning, it is pricey. Otherwise, go for the Quick-Up. That 'big box' store for some reason decided to discontinue it but you can find it here at Amazon.com. Use a corded vac to clean the filter for best performance. Mine came with 2 batteries, the model number is mentioned in my review of the Quick-Up.

"So much better than my heavy Eureka Boss" 2010-10-14

I'm a lazy vacuumer. I have two little kids, so I should be doing it pretty much constantly, but I HATE it. Vacuums are heavy and noisy and get full. I LOVE this vacuum. It has fantastic suction, does a great job on Cheerios, pasta, crumbs, dust, pieces of waffle, you name it. It's got this great pivoting head that gets into all the nooks and crannies, it does a way better job on my hardwood than the big vacuum. The charge easily lasts enough to do both floor of the house and the stairs. I am happy to pull this out several times a week - something I would always consider doing, but rarely actually do, with the Boss.

But I have only had this for 30 minutes, so take this all as first try observations. :)

So far, I love the design. I am amazed at how easily it goes onto and comes off the stand. Seems like a small thing to mention, but it is really nice to be able to set it down without fiddling much to find the right angle. It takes up far less space than the eureka 2-in-1 it is replacing. It has a cradle and attachments which is also better than my old vacuum. It is light enough to be comfortable, though it does have some heft to it such that I wouldn't call it feather weight. Feels solid and rolls like a dream.

I was able to vacuum around two litter boxes, two carpeted cat platforms, and a good area of hardwood floor without running out of battery. It had only charged for about 15 minutes.

The suction worked, but was not astounding. It picked up kitty litter and fuzzies but sometimes I had to go back over the kitty litter to get the last little bits. The swivel was nice and it seemed to have decent suction to the edge areas. I shook it and a few grains of litter did fall back out, but not until I shook it, which is better than my old vacuum.

So far I am happy. I will try to update when I know more.

This Electrolux vacuum has fabulous ergonomics -- it swivels to fit in corners, it's easy to empty, no fumbling needed to replace it on the charging stand. It seems really well made, and it does a fine job on pet hair. But as a prior reviewer commented, it doesn't have enough suction power to pick up small pieces, like dry cat food, unless you use just the hand-vac piece. Also, long human hair got wound around the rod instead of being sucked in, and I had to pull that off by hand. Maybe I was unrealistic to think it would remove dust and crumbs from the grout lines in my slate floor, but it failed miserably at that task. The charge lasts less than 10 minutes at full suction strength. I really wanted to love it, based on all the positive reviews and the design, but its performance for me has been mediocre. I'm back on the Amazon website looking for something different to buy. :-(

I waited a good long time before I reviewed this product. I wanted to make absolutely sure that I knew everything about it before I sang its praises to other possible customers. I must say that I am impressed. First with the suction power. For a handheld vac, it doesn't leave much behind (within reason.) One must consider, of course, that it is not meant to pick up bowling balls or objects too big to comfortably fit into the opening. It is great for dirt, grit, animal hair, rabbit poops, moths, and even spiders, though I would recommend emptying the easily removed bag and filter inside lest the spiders and moths work together to escape and go up your nose while you are sleeping. The charger can be wall mounted, which is nice, though I did not use this feature. It is easy to clean, but the precision suction funnel tube thing did not really come in handy because I had trouble keeping it locked in place. It works perfectly fine without out. Believe me, I did a lot of research reading customer reviews before I decided to try this brand and model out. I was not disappointed. Lastly, the battery in the appliance holds a charge for quite awhile when not in use, and I have left it unplugged for as much as a week between uses and it still did the job. Not so great for use with extremely fine dust particles as the filter is not precise enough. Also I would not recommend using it for wet things. All in all, GREAT JOB!

We have hardwoods and a big dog that molts twice a year (blows her coat) so this was purchased just to pick up the seasonal Fur Babies that congregate within hours of vacuuming. The battery has a very short life but I can hit all of the corners before it is finished. Does not pick up cat litter well at all. Fur fills the small cup quickly. The cup is easy to clean, but you do have to touch fuzzy contents. The toggle type power switch is distant, awkward and snaps into the "On" and "Off" position -- if you have small hands it may take both of them just to turn it on and/or off. The attached crevice tool is a nice feature. We have had several Handheld Vacs and know their many limitations, this one does do the job i purchased it for. I gave it 2 stars because of it's very light duty, weak suction, short battery life, and awkward design.

This thing picks up animal hair and debris off of upholstery like you wouldn't believe!

After vacuuming our couch with our nice expensive vacuum with a high-speed brush we still had animal hair all over. We then redone the same furniture with this Handheld and we were shocked by how much hair and other stuff this thing picked up!

It actually pulled so much dirt out of our couch the first time we used it that it filled up the canister! And we vacuum it on a regular basis with our other vacuum (about once every week) because of the cat and dog we have.

The only downside is if you try to vacuum loose debris like on hard surfaces or large fuzz-balls that are not attached will get blown away if you face the exhaust on this thing at them. And let me tell you the amount of air that blows out the sides is like a tornado!

Its the first dust buster I've ever had and I am very happy with it. I've used quite a few manual dusters and it does much better. We got this Black & Decker handheld vacuum partially based on the good reviews here on Amazon. We've had it for 5 months and are very happy with it. It is easy to clean, has a sturdy construction, has a charger that takes up minimal floor space, has great battery life thus far, and most importantly in a vacuum, it really picks stuff up. Our upright vacuum died recently, and we're debating if we even need to replace it, because this handheld does such a great job. (Ours was $53.50, by the way, including shipping, but I'd say it's still worth it even if you have to pay a little more.)

This vacuum has only two drawbacks -- it is quite loud, especially on high (there's a low and a high setting), so late-night vacuuming in an apartment is out, and it's quite heavy for a handheld. In fact, my hand usually gets tired long before the battery runs out. If you have wrist, arm, or back trouble, you might need to look elsewhere. Otherwise, this is a great vacuum, and far and away the best handheld vacuum we've ever had.

P.S. Apparently there's a new model out. I haven't tried it out, but the reviews aren't quite as enthusiastic -- especially as they eliminated the charging station, which is one of this model's definite pluses. However, it's slightly lighter and the brush is built-in, so it's worth looking into, as well.

This is the finest dustbuster I have ever owned! It looks a little funny, but it works like a champ! I use it daily to clean cat litter, cat hair, crumbs, dry cat food and other messes around the house. It's awesome in the car too. It's so powerful that I've never even had to use it's "high power" setting - there's been no need. I've never experienced it dying on me, so the battery has more than enough power for extended daily uses. The nozzle is slender enough to clean the lint trap on your dryer and to do a beautiful job on baseboard dust and tile grout messes! A+++

I purchased the Eureka vacuum about one month ago. This is a very powerful but heavy vacuum. It picks up quite well on both rug and bare floor. The only problem that I have experienced is with the tool rack. One of the tools falls off fairly frequently and will not stay on the machine when jostled. I have found that changing from rug to floor is quite easy. If you lower the handle to the floor before making the change, the foot pedal switch is easily moved to the correct position. That said,the machine is well worth its cost despite the tool problem.

I bought this vacuum because it was highly rated for picking up dog hair. However, I learned that it does not like vacuuming up dog 'undercoat type fuzz.' I think you forgot to plug it in. My Hot shot is as hot as any steam can get and that's "scalding Hot". Perhap the problem is is that the cord was cut off it and you couldn't plug it in because it's Far from Short. My Hot shots cord is over 16 feet long. that's right count em SIXTEEN FEET LONG. I don't know maybe for some people that's short. for me that's the longest cord I ever had on ANY appliance and is MORE than sufficient. As for doing only 1" x 1" you must trying to get the red out of a red brick. OR Maybe you should clean a little more often. I do a whole oven and stove area on 1 fill. I do a 6" x ^' Macaw Cage with one fill. Talk about crevices and crooks and nannies. I use the steamer because IT IS THE MOST ENVIRONMENTALLY SAFE CLEANER avaiable and I don't have to worry about injuring or killing my bird. Besides it works wonders at cleaning and killing Germ

Well, I'm glad I borrowed this from a friend instead of wasting my own money. I know why it's been sitting in it's box for about a year now. This must be the worst household invention in history. It looks attractive and has a nice, long cord...the only two good things about it. I'd rather it be ugly with a short cord and work.

Okay...first things first. You put about 6 oz. water into the so-called steamer. Wait 3-4 minutes for it to warm up. That's what it does. It warms the steam. It says not to direct at people, plants or animals, but after trying it on several surfaces and being disappointed, I blasted my hand about 2-3 inches from the nozzle. My showers are hotter than this steam. So, I use the warm steam on surfaces such as stove, shower, etc. USELESS!!! Stick to traditional methods and use environmentally safe cleansers instead. If it was the "type" of dirt that the steamer could actually remove, you would have to hold the stupid thing about a 1/4 inch from it for what seems like a minute. So, by the time you get done cleaning that 1" X 1" area, guess what? Time to refill your Eureka HotShot!! Oh yeah...it's that awesome. While you're waiting for the unit to cool down, you could probably go ahead and clean whatever it was you were trying to clean with this thing. Warning...Don't buy this product!!!!

Could this vacuum be more poorly designed? I doubt it. I mean, the vacuum itself is cute-- very lightweight, green and white plastic, which caught my eye. But it's like they never thought of how it would actually work.

I have ONE cat-- and two children. That's it. I vacuum a couple of times a week.

I couldn't make one full pass through the house without the filter clogging with dust. Just awful. And the hair and dust sticks to the filter-- it doesn't drop into the canister-- so it's like a giant dustball right up near the top, until you empty it, which is every five minutes.

Did they even test this unit before they put it out on the market? It was cheap, which is why I bought it, but oh boy! This vacuum isn't worth five dollars, much less $50. I wish I could post pictures so you could see what I mean. This vacuum is awful! Don't waste your money!

I purchased this vacuum as a unit to be used in our basement, where we have a low pile runner, a low pile area rug, and a piece of old carpeting that was originally used in our living, which is higher pile. We have an old, ugly basement, so I really didn't want to spend big bucks for a really good appliance. Although this seemed to work OK on the lower pile rugs, it was extremely difficult to push over the old living room carpet. It was just not made to do this. I only wish the saleman would have informed me of this before I purchased it.

The unit was very easy to assemble (even did it without the use of the manual; it was pretty obvious how it all went together). It has a long cord, which definitely is a plus.

I ended up returning the thing to the dealer and purchasing a Hoover Foldaway Widepath which is much more heavy-duty, although more expensive. That unit works great and is perfect for my needs.

Yes, it fits my 5550 model vacuum cleaner, but I have to give some force to push it in in order to lock it. Also the quality is not as good as the filter came with the vacuum cleaner. The original fits well and outter body had extra fiber-glass like liner, but not this one, it just plain paper. The original filter lasted me 5 years, I don't think this one will last.

I got the Ergorapido a couple of months ago after we moved into a bigger house with ALOT of tile floors to clean. I tore my ACL a year ago, and my knee swells up whenever I vacuum or sweep the floors. (good excuse not to clean-ha!) Well, I saw this little guy at Costco for $79, so I thought I'd try it. It has been a total lifesaver--I use it every day on the kitchen/entryway/mudroom/bathroom tile to pick up dog hair, dirt and crumbs. It's very powerful and is great for edge cleaning and tight spaces. I can vacuum all the tile in less than 10 minutes, and my knee isn't swollen! It's very easy to maneuver and is super quiet. Works great on rugs, too. Easy to dump out the dirt canister, and even has a cool little spring loaded thingie for getting the fine dust out of the filter. Excellent purchase! My mom still uses an Electrolux vacuum cleaner that she got in the 1970s. Great brand! Oh, I love the orange color, too. Very cheery for a dreary chore.

This is a really cool vac. I just love the color and the weight of this vac. I have not used the wall mounting kit as I have not had any problems with the stand up mount at this point. The vac worked right out of the box. It also has a built in hand vac that is really easy to access whenever needed. I have not used the accessories yet and don't know that I will as I did not buy it for them. The vac is great at maneuvering around and it is just so easy and lightweight to use. It has 2 speeds and works on my smaller rugs as well as my ceramic and laminate floors. The Rapido is bagless and opens easily to let you empty without getting your hands dirty. I bought mine at BJ's for $79 based on another review and this was the best buy I could have made. I find myself using this daily ever since I brought it home. My only problem is deciding exactly where I want to make its permanent home. I've moved it a few times to the point that my hubby asked how many of these did I buy. I honestly have not found anything that I don't like about this vac. I highly recommend it.

I was careful to charge it for the full 24 hours while resisting the temptation to go vacuum stuff. It had at least 20 minuts of pretty decent power (it vacuumed up little bits of plastic (fish gravel sized), and a whole lots of dust.

The swivel head made is really easy to maneuver around, and it was kind of fun... and the goal is to make medial tasks kind of fun, yes?

The only thing I'd like to see is a sortof allergy filer on the the exhaust to help keep some of the tiny dust out of the air.

Over the years, these cordless vacuums have really improved. The Black and Decker 9.6 Volt Cyclonic-Action Dustbuster is a real winner. It is light and powerful. So good that I have given two of these as gifts.

Will the Dustbuster pick up everything? No, of course not. Reading the reviews of not only this vacuum but many other portables, I found that sometimes negative reviews were based on unrealistic expectations for a small portable vacuum.

For the price, this dustbuster is a nice way of cleaning up light spills. I highly recommend it.

I got this mostly for quick cleanups in the mudroom where you come in from the garage. This is also the room with the clothes dryer so bits of lint tend to be scattered around after a clothes wash and dry. It works great for this except for the fact that the filter seems to get clogged pretty quickly. Not sure what could be done to keep this from happening but it is a bit annoying. Other than that minor item the vacuum works great.

I've owned Dustbusters pretty much since they first came on the market, including a really fancy one with a snap on electric bush attachement. However, for suction, this is the best one yet! I can't see how one costing twice as much can offer much more in the way of suction because this one has more than enough. At the price being charged, it's almost a giveaway. Highly recommmended!!!

The other thing that is really annoying is that it is not a one-way system, there is a giant hole from the end of the nozzle to the filter and as soon as I put the vacuum back on the charger, anything that was in the chamber just falls back out. What is the point of vacuuming if it doesn't hold the crumbs?? Otherwise you have to empty it every time you use it.

Excellent vacuum, much better than any of the 4.8V models I've had. Easily emptied. A little heavy, but that's necessary for the beefy motor and battery. Wall mounting is possible but it best sits on a horizontal surface. Only thing missing is a long wand attachment.

I would recommend this vacuum cleaner for use in small houses. I live in a two bedroom townhouse, and I needed to empty out the dust holder a few times, while doing the entire house. Its very easy to use, and comes with a very long cord. The setup instructions are also pretty simple. Its easy to carry around the house. This is the first vacuum cleaner I bought, but I have used other vacuum cleaners before, and I would recommend this over most cleaner. It does not overheat. However, be careful with any polythene or any sticky materials being sucked in. It heats very fast when that happens. The only problem I found with this cleaner is that when you the nozzle, you need to remove the tube from the sucking system below. Then, if the floor is not yet perfectly clean, you get dust being kicked up by the that system into the air. That is the only concern I have with this.

I am a student, and I don't heavily use a vacuum cleaner. Its more like an occasional use, and this is a very good vacuum cleaner for this price. I think it is quite tough to beat it at this price point.

I hate to clean and especially to lug around a heavy vacuum. I bought a Dyson, but it was just too big and bulky for my little place. This vacuum is small, the handle goes down for storage and it does a good job picking up big and small pieces. I like the bagless option, but the canister does fill up pretty quickly. I wouldn't recommend if you do a lot of vacuuming, but for light household use it's great. Very lightweight, which is great for my back. I also like the attachments which work well for cleaning the couches. Overall, glad I bought this.

I bought this a few years ago and it's worked fine. The problem is that over time with only moderate use (once a week use over a small area) the wheels fall off. There's a plastic tab that keeps the wheels on and it wears out. I took it to the vacuum repair place and they said the only way to fix it was to buy an entire new head which costs about the same as a new vacuum ($80). He said I wasn't the only person who's come in with this problem, and he tells them not to buy the Optima for just this reason.

I got this vacuum because I read that it was light weight, not too noisy, and did a good job picking up dirt. I found it very difficult to push on my carpets. By the time I was done vacuuming my apartment, my back was really hurting. It feels like it has the brakes on. I tried to return it, but found that some of the pieces that had to be assembled when I purchased it, wouldn't come apart--thus I was not able to ship it back as it was shipped to me.

Many are complaining about the filter being constantly cleaned, that's just a minor thing for me. Then the dust being blown because of the exhaust is in front, that's why you tilt it. I have a moderate amount of carpet in my apartment and some bare flooring. This thing works great on both surfaces, everytime I vac, I see a lot of dirt and dust in the canister when I barely see it with my eyes. Regardless of what people complain about, it's worth it on my end.

It started out well but putters out after only a year. It is cheap but you would have to buy a new one yearly. That is a waist of resources and I hate the "make it cheap and make it not last" business practice. I replaced the bag regularly, replaced the filter but it just has poor pick-up and that is the whole point of a vacuum. When you have to run over the thing you can see 3-4 times to get it, how many things that can't be seen are being left every time you vacuum?! This replaced a Dyson (that lasted years!) and will be replaced by a Dyson.

The vacuum arrived today. I have always had Hoover vacuums, but I thought I would try something new. Big mistake. As soon as I started putting this product together I knew it was a cheaply made vacuum. Every thing about it was cheap, thin plastic, the brushes on the roller were especially cheap. When I tried it out the roller did not turn, I checked to see if the belt was broken, it was OK. The shaft that turns the belt would not turn. Amazon is going to return my money. I am lucky it was a faulty product, or I would have been stuck with a vacuum that would never last like the Hoovers I have had. I will never buy another Eureka product. I will always shop at Amazon.

Having 3 cats and 2 dogs equals pet hair..lots of it! I've tried many products and thought my answer was my hand held Dirt Devil, along with covering as much furniture as possible with sheets. A friend gave this to me to try and once I gave it a shot, I couldn't get enough. I was literally shocked that this little attachment worked the magic that it did!! The silicon rubberish head grips the hair and then with the vacuum constantly sucking up the hair, my furniture looked brand new again! I highly recommend it. I only gave it 4 stars because the universal adapters are a little tight to attach to the hose of my vacuum, but I managed with it only popping off a few times. Excellent dog and cat hair remover - Best attachement ever! The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star is because even with the adapter connecting to my hoover windtunel vacuum is a bit awkward. However this is better than any of the attachments that came with the vacuum. I highly recommend for anyone that has animal hair - I have two large dogs and two long-haired cats and this gets ALL the hair from my couch, pillows, chair seats, and any other fabric I apply it to. Also gets the hair off the clothes I'm wearing better than the lint brush.

Lightweight, inexpensive, great suction and pick-up. I keep it in my kitchen because with three kids, I constantly was having to get my broom/dustpan out to clean up crumbs. Light enough to carry from room to room to take care of the tile in each room. Minor complaint: the cord could be longer. Nevertheless, I am buying one of these for my elderly mother because I think she would appreciate the super quick clean ups :).

I love this vacuum! The reason why I bought it was to primarily keep my kitchen, breakfast bar, and family room clean. I have a 3 year old who drops everything, a 8 month old who crawls and eats everything, and a black dog with white floors. I keep the vacuum in my pantry closet so it is very handy. I love the handheld option because I use it for the high chair (which my dog hates because that used to be her job). I have had this item for over a month and have no real complaints. My house is 2400 sq ft so I can't vacuum the whole house with one charge but I can do most of it. I did not get this vacuum to clean the whole house, I got it to clean the everyday floors that we do most of our "living" in. Getting my big vacuum and the extension cord that I use with it is somewhat of a hassle, especially for using it everyday. I can use this item 3 to 4 times a day depending on the activities we are doing. I would recommend this vacuum for everyday use, small spaces, and people who do not want or are not able to use a heavy vacuum anymore. The suction is wonderful and picks up a lot of items that I did not think it would.

I love this little stick vacuum. It replaced my swivel sweeper that pooped out after not having it too long. The Electrolux vacuum is used primarily on my tile floor in the kitchen. Sometimes it takes a couple of sweeps to pick crumbs and items up but it is better than bringing out the large vacuum when I can be done in 2 minutes with the Electrolux. It is easy to clean and fits nicely out of the way in my laundry room. The detachable vacuum with attachments is a bonus that has come in handy to use on the furniture.
